Usually banks act as foreign currency exchanges (not so much brokers, although you can purchase your currency thru them). The key is whether the currency is traded on the foreign exchange market. But you can always obtain the currency. I own the new Iraq Dinars, which you have to get either thru a dealer or the bank (chase, Bank of America, HSBC).
